The one thing that I don't undertsand about Calgary is that it is so wide out and there is so much land, yet they build their houses 2 feet away from eachother. They also don't have very big backyards. So yesterday we drove 45km South to Nat's parents' place. They live in a community of very big houses that are built around a man made lake. Ross told me Iginla has a house in the same neighborhood. Our camera died 5 minutes after we got there, but this is the view from their balcony, looking into their backyard. We had a swim at the lake and then came back for dinner, and some scotch on the patio. We have receieved nothing but the greatest hospitality from everyone we've met here.
